Versis Review at 59Hardware
March 28, 2013

The Spire versis Chassis is suprisingly quiet compared to it's cooling performace. when we link this to the very attractive price and the possibility to add even more cooling solutions (fan on top of the case) we would reccomend it for a budget gaming system.

Versis Review at Traficantesdehardware.com
December 15, 2012

Our conclusion is that the design of the Spire Versis PC case is most original and elegant, lots of interior space for assembly and adequate cooling. The Versis is build with good cable management, dust Filters, USB 3.0, 120mm fans with Blue LED Lighting, HDD with anti-vibration system and large mainboard cut-out for cpu cooler assembly with back-plate. Sonex 6010 Review at Motherboards.org
August 6, 2012

Overall this is a good case, there aren’t any glaring problems with this case, and I do like the way it looks and performs I don’t have a problem recommending it to you. If you have been looking for an all black chassis in the $50-75 price range and you like the way the Sonex 6010 looks you should pick one up.

Savit 6003 Review at hardwareplaneten.dk
June 27, 2012

Once again it's time for a review, this time we're taking a further look at a gaming case from Spire, called Savit 6003. I received the case this morning and have been busy for the last 5 hours doing a review of its package, design, features and lots more.

Savit 6003 Review at Razorman.net
June 19, 2012

Spire has provided us with a chassis that is very satisfactory. Its external design is very nice, with a size well suited for any type of user, enough expansion slots, front connections and a sufficient cooling. We emphasize the 4 fans included by Spire, besides a nice touch is that 3 of them are illuminated with blue LED’s that gives the Savit 6003 a special feature that will appeal to potential buyers. Although there is some room for improvement such as USB3.0, the Spire Savit 6003 chassis convinced us, we award the Savit 6003 with Silver and a final score of 9/10.

Sonex 6010 Review at HW Master
June 12, 2012

During the review we have seen the validity of this case equipped with innovative solutions, such as the space for the long video cards and a build in card-reader on the top-panel. The aesthetic is quite nice, the front panel illuminated with blue LED's on de top and sides of the front panel, which give the Sonex 6010 a nice touch. We recommend this case to anyone looking for an interesting chassis a decent price.

Sonex 6010 Review at PCworld.fr
June 6, 2012

The Sonex 6010 from Spire leaves us with a cheerful impression. We believe that Spire did a nice job by designing the front panel and building the nice touch of LED's on the side and top. Pricing is quite competitive for this chassis as it can be found online for about 45 euros.

Sonex 6010 Review at Topreviewshop.com
May 16, 2012

There are some design choices that well frankly I wish some of the big boys would offer. This case is a great case for a first time builder or for the budget conscious. To give you some idea at retail this case will run you $70. I really liked that the front expansion slots had filters on them and that someone at Spire had the fore thought that someone might need more space for a long GPU. The speaker was a nice touch not seen in ages. The lack of good cable management is something Sonex 6010 could improve upon. At first I did not like the glossy front however once you have the system built and running the blue LEDs with the gloss and matt side panels it will start to grow on you. Overall I would give this case an 8/10!

Sonex 6010 Review at coolingtechnique.com
April 24, 2012

The Spire Sonex 6010 proved to be a good case, aesthetically appealing and non-trivial. The materials, especially those used for the front, are of excellent quality as well as the painting is of excellent quality that allows a quick and easy mounting without worry of causing significant damage to the aesthetics of the plates that also use the rounded cut-resistant in accordance with European regulations for the safety of this kind of empty homes products. The weight is minimal, but at the expense of the thickness steel parts that because of the thickness in some points were already deformed at the time of delivery of the product even if the traction had been minimum as well as the deformation. The presence of the generous size of the window behind the cpu, convenient to replace the heat sink or when the waterblock is a backplate that will allow us to perform routine maintenance without having to dismantle the entire system, thus losing several hours. Comfortable even the windows for the passage of the wiring, and excellent use of the internal spaces, with the possibility to mount video cards quite long, while maintaining the ability to mount three hard drives mechanical or solid state with the appropriate adapters to reduce the bay 3.5 "to 2.5".

Epoxi Rev.2 Review at ProClockers
April 19, 2012

The Spire Epoxi Rev 2 is one of those cases that will probably not get all the web chatter and forum post that many cases get. But it should. I can honestly say without any doubt that it is one of the best built cases I have ever had in our lab! The 0.8mm SECC metal makes for a very sturdy case. Being sturdy and durable is not all that goes into the purchase of a case. One of the most deciding factors for many is looks. And the Epoxi Rev 2 is just that. The words I can think of are simplistic, subtle, uniformed and professional. This case can be used for any purpose like gaming, in an office, as a file server or for an enthusiast that wants to be the ultimate water-cooled rig. The interior of the case is just a refined. There is plenty of room to accommodate any of the current graphic cards. We highly recommend the Epoxi and also give it our best value award!

Sonex 6010 Review at overclockingstation.de
April 5, 2012

The Sonex 6010 manufacturer's RRP is €48.99 but we have found some in the EU on comparison that offered it for about €35. Given this price the case is very good. Off course at this low cost this chassis will not offer you great features. So if you are looking for a good case, with a nice face and not all the high tech features the Sonex 6010 from Spire is a good choice. We give the Overclockingstation "Price Tip Award".

Sonex 6010 Review at xsreviews.co.uk
April 3, 2012

The Spire Sonex 6010 Is definitely not a bad case, so perhaps I’m being too picky when I seek out all the flaws I can. The cost is quite low for a gaming chassis, you can pick it up for anywhere between €45 and €50 from a number of online retailers, including ebuyer and WithChips. So, without yet more deliberation, I deem the Spire Sonex 6010 to be a very respectable 8/10.

Sonex 6010 Review at RBMods.com
March 28, 2012

The Spire Sonex 6010 is a solid gaming chassis and it looks like one. The performance is very good and the aesthetics is nice especially when powered on. The only suspicious element is the build quality of the internals – and we’re not even completely sure whether it’s the feel we don’t like or it really is lower than it should be for the chassis. Furthermore, the Sonex 6010 is pointed to be gamers mid-tower chassis and provides only a basic features with little user-friendly benefits. However, thanks to an affordable price of MSRP under US$ 70 we recommend it to an undemanding gamer on the limited budget.

Sonex 6010 Review at Bytheway.gr
March 28, 2012

A conclusion The SONEX 6010 is an honest box. It asks 50 € from the buyer and gives him several things lacking expensive boxes. It features black interior with paint, holes in the motherboard tray for both the heatsink and for tidying up the cables and enough space for storage. The box of the SPIRE promises appearance, functionality and privacy. The appearance is something subjective. Some people like it and some don't. I personally like it, it's not something fancy, and it's plain and simple. Regarding privacy, it does so, and very well indeed. The two supplied fans are very quiet. Overall, when the computer turns on, it must be quiet to hear it. In normal conditions it is practically inaudible. On the other hand, 2 usb ports on the front I / O panel is not much. Negative is considered the lack of port firewire. Generally it is a worthwhile proposal to SPIRE at the boxes. Certainly not with the eyes causes the appearance but perhaps that the prospective buyer wants it. Ignoring the few design flaws, would characterize as a respectable opponent in the battle for supremacy in the low budget PC cases, by adding more and more suggestions. The box we tested in this review, despite some shortcomings, is a very good box, which does what it promises.

Sonex 6010 Review at VR-zone.com
March 28, 2012

Spire did a fine job designing and manufacturing the Sonex 6010. Although the company’s engineers had their hands full trying to combine low cost, good aesthetics, acceptable thermal performance and production quality, the Sonex 6010 came out very well. The case is aesthetically attractive and well made, with no sharp edges or manufacturing imperfections to be found. The 0.6mm steel body and panels are not exactly meant to withstand severe punishment, yet the mechanical cohesion of the chassis is acceptable. To summarize, the overall quality of the Sonex 6010 cannot be compared to that of much heavier and more expensive cases, it however is fairly good for a product of this price range. We award the Spire Sonex 6010 with 8.5 out of 10 points and include the Value award!

Sonex 6010 Review at Mega-labs.com
March 21, 2012

Generally we were satisfied with Spire's Sonex 6010 considering its price. Overall, we have to do with a flawlessly designed budget gaming case with a nicely finished black interior, which is a feature that we meet in more expensive enclosures. The installation of the system is painless. The existence of the front fan with LED lighting will surely appeal to gamers. Thumbs up also for the front panel, which is positioned on top to provide ease of operation, and offers enough connectivity options for daily use. Costing around 50.00EUR across Europe, this would be surely a case to consider when building a new system with the mindset of keeping the cost down.

Sonex 6010 Review at Infohw.com
March 20, 2012

Spire marketed a new chassis that targets gamers on a budget. The Sonex 6010 should appeal to a wide variety of users, especially users looking for a chassis at a reduced price. The Sonex 6010 surprises by its simple design and appealing aesthetics. Despite being aimed at enthusiasts, the Sonex 6010 was not designed to think of high-end systems, however, it offers features rarely seen in the same chassis segment. With support for large graphics cards as well as a lot of drives. With the help of two 120 mm blue led fans, the chassis is able to withstand the heat output of most of the current gaming systems. Priced at only 48.99 euros, the Spire Sonex 6010 offers an excellent price v.s. quality ratio. We award the Sonex 6010 with our InfoHW “Value” Award.

Sonex 6010 Review at Hwgeek.it
February 21, 2012

The Spire 6010 Sonex looks like a case for the PC enthusiasts on a budget, as proposed by Spire. The styling of the case is great and the installation of hardware is simple but effective. The body is made of 0.6 mm SECC steel which is quite light but at the same time strong enough. The chassis finish is of highly detailed and accurate factor. Included are two 12 cm fans which have proved to be efficient and quiet also helped top great looks by Blue LED light through the metal mesh on the front panel. Overall a great case, not high-end but not intended to be, therefore our editors give the Sonex 6010 the HWGeek Silver Award!

Epoxi Review at Svethardware.cz
February 2, 2012

Spire Epoxi which can be classified as a Big Tower and its special features are two positions for power source units, which allows us to run a very powerful computer, or in place of the upper PSU we can eventually place a large water cooling radiator. Epoxi offers lots of space inside even for the longest graphics cards and Extended-ATX form motherboards. This chassis is great for case modding, upgrading and overclocking, we reward the Spire Epoxi with 4.5 out of 5 Golden Stars!

Epoxi Rev.2 Review at Gamezoom.net

Sentor 6004 Review at overclockear.com
January 6, 2012

The quality of construction of the Spire Sentor 6004 is excellent. The mesh front gives a aggressive touch and the selected material chosen for its construction (SEEC steel 0.7mm) makes for a very robust and durable chassis. The Sentor 6004 aesthetics are in tune, especially when switched on there is an all Blue LED glow over the case. Main features are; its large internal space, without forgetting interesting details such as pre installation of anti-vibration rubber padding for six 120mm fans (5 of them with blue LED), as well as implementing a "tool free" system for PCI ports and bays of 5.25 "and 3.5". The Spire Sentor 6004 is sold in Europe for 75 €, which is not bad for its features and build quality. Therefore we will recommend and give our Award "Recommended".

Epoxi Rev.2 Review at Hardwareinfo.nl
January 3, 2012

Spire Epoxi Rev.2 is one of the largest cases in our roundup, it can almost be seen as a full-server case. The impressive 6 fans are silent and provide sufficient airflow. Overall we are quite impressed by this new chassis from Spire and therefore we awarded the Epoxi with our Bronze Hardwareinfo medal!

PowerCube Review at PCforalla.idg.se
January 1, 2012

Spire Powercube SPM201B is a pretty interesting computer case that makes it possible to build a tiny computer for a small cost. The powerful psu (for being mini-itx) is both the computer case biggest asset. The case is probably best suitable for a gaming computer in the mid range and then you have to pick the right graphic card and not use a cpu that will create too much heat. Since there’s only one fan in Spire Powercube (the psu) the air flow is low. There are better options if you want to build a less powerful and quieter system.

Epoxi Review at Teccentral.de
December 21, 2011

With a target retail price of around €110 in Europe, the new Spire Epoxi case has been moving in the upper-market segment. For this class, it misses one additional feature, such as a USB 3.0 port. Otherwise a very well-designed front panel with hard drive cage accessible from the outside. Therefore we give the well-designed Spire Epoxi the TecCentral bronze medal: Update 21/12/2011: After consultation with Spire they have assured us that the manufacturer already have changed the production of the Epoxi case and now is equipped with USB 3.0 port integrated into the front top-panel. Thus, the evaluation changes to an TecCentral high-tech Silveer award!

Savit 6003 Review at Hardwareanalisis.es
December 12, 2011

Spire convinced us with one of their nice cases, the Savit 6003. This gamer tower has very interesting features with a touch of high quality. The overall aesthetic is simple but attractive. Especially the meshed front and side windows make this a cool looking case. The Spire Savit 6003 is a middle tower with fairly large interior space. Perhaps the orientation of the rack for 3.5 "drives can cause problems if we use very long graphics cards. The cable management and Tool-free systems are great and easy to use. Once assembled, we achieved an excellent result and nice aesthetics, with the wires neatly tucked away and cool blue LED lighting. The suggested retail price of the Spire Savit 6003 is 60 €, which seems a real bargain considering that it includes 4pcs 120mm fans and has excellent features.

Savit 6003 Review at Myvye.net

As well as this you have space for a floppy drive or card reader along with 4x 3.5inch spaces for such items as your DVD Re-writers to your Blu-Ray players. Plus a 12mm blue neon fan for exhausting the airflow around your case. Overall we reward the Spire Savit 6003 with 9 out of 10 points.

I must admit that Spire wouldn't my first brand in my mind when shopping for a high-end case, but the Epoxi changed this idea completely. I have to say Spire did a great job with the Epoxi case which offer a lot of advantages. The very generous interior space, the detailed solutions, the design it all adds up to a complete chassis which Spire named the Epoxi. Conclusion, a great case which deserves the “Very good” award!

Almost everything have been addressed, grommets for water cooling tubes, cable clips and space between mainboard back-plate and side panel. Pininfarina Review at Teccentral.de
September 10, 2009

The Spire Pininfarina chassis is a properly processed and sturdy enclosure. The timeless design offers a nice case to both office and home users. Also to mention the total concept, which begins with the tool-free assembling and great looks. All in all thus well invested your money, maybe not cheap but for sure the Spire Pininfarina is worth it every cent.

SwordFin Review at Xtremecomputing.co.uk
June 23, 2009

At the start of this review, I asked if the SwordFin would live up to Spire’s hype (as found on their website under About us). I can safely say that this case is of high quality, with a few innovative and well thought out ideas (such as the easy to detach rear fan mount and smart placement of motherboard tray holes).

The Spire Pininfarina is an exceptional case, one of a kind. The functionality is phenomenal with it's tool free access and removable drive cage and motherboards tray.

Pininfarina Review at PC Ekspert
May 26, 2008

Spire`s case with a well-known name of the Italian design studio attracts us with its great design and some practical details. We liked the butterfly doors which ensure a great access to the interior of the case, and also the HDD cage which can be removed from the case for easier disk mounting. In addition, 120 mm vent that is mounted in front of the cage ensures great disk cooling. Tool-less system is great and very functional so you won`t struggle with mounting various components. Spire and Pininfarina have done a great job and we think many customers will love this case. In Croatian stores Spire Pininfarina case costs about 110 € (without PSU), which is a fair price for everything it offers.

BlackFin Review at Traficantes de Hardware

Pininfarina Review at R&B Mods.com
March 3, 2008

I love the way how it opens up and makes it very easy to install all the parts, I wish a few other companies would have thought of this also. The fans are mounted great and they do their job. Overall though a very nice case.

JetBlack Review at eiskaltmacher.de

Pininfarina Review at Futurelooks.com
December 5, 2007

So are you tired of the same old boring computer case? Ready for something sexy, curvy, and drop dead gorgeous? And yes, I am talking about a computer case. How about one that is designed by the famous Italian design firm Pininfarina (the same company that designed the Ferrari Enzo)? Teaming up with Pininfarina, Spire has introduced the SP-ATX-PALU/S

JetBlack Review at Rbmods.com

This is a nice case there is no doubt about it. It might be a bit tighter than other cases I have reviewed in the past but it looks awesome and it is very easy to install parts in. You don't need any tools and you don't have be afraid to scratch your hands and arms when mounting the parts as every corner is rounded for your convinience.

BlackFin Review at Dragonsteelmods.com
July 12, 2007

The pros outweigh the cons for the Spire Blackfin case, it is overall well designed with a little room for improvement. The Blackfin is constructed well, and has quite a few features that most system builders can appreciate. The Blackfin is a very nice mid-sized case for those looking for a smaller, yet stylish chassis for their system. DragonSteelMods gives the Spire Blackfin a 4.5 out of 5 score.

Pininfarina Case Review at techPowerUp.com
June 27, 2007

The Spire Pininfarina is a true designer item. It looks great and has some unique features. The incredibly thick aluminum coupled with the 1 mm thick steel make this a case which is nearly indestructable. The flip down butterfly doors are a great idea and do work well. Another great feature is the screwless design and it would have been great to have every drive bay inside the case equipped with these.

SwordFin Review at HardwareCrew.com

SwordFin Review at hard-h2o.com
May 29, 2007

The Spire SwordFin is a great computer case with a good price/quality relation. It combines great cooling with a nice design, which makes it ideally suited for taking it to Lan Parties or just using it at the office, That is why we award the SwordFin with our Hard-H2O recommended award!

BergWind II Review at Driverheaven.net
May 22, 2007

We did not have great expectations from the Bergwind II; after all it is a case which costs less than 30 euros. But for such a low price budget case, we found its craftsmanship to be surprising. It is not loaded with special features or tool less device locking mechanisms, but it is a simple, lightweight and aesthetically appealing case nonetheless. For building a cost-effective system, we can find no reason why this case should not be on your shortlist.

Pininfarina Case Review at Svethardware.cz
May 16, 2007

At the beginning of the review I was talking about functionality subordinating to design. To some extent we can apply the idea to this case; however, we can find many design elements which are also very functional. For example the front panel hiding front I/O ports. Next thing I liked was the choice of material. Spire chose 1mm SECC for the main parts of Pininfarina and also massive 6mm aluminium 'armour' covering the front, the top and the rear of the case. Overall weight of the case is good for dampening fans' and HDDs' vibrations.

Pininfarina Case Review at Hardware.info
May 15, 2007

This design will not be one for everyone, but the designers certainly made something special! The finishing is from a vey high quality. Furthermore offers this case a high level of user friendliness which makes it ideal for people who are often changing the internal devices!

Swirl Review at TweakUp.dk
May 10, 2007

Spire has done a good job with the Swirl, SP7062B. It is no case for the high-end users, but if you are looking for a great case which also ensures good cooling and has some looks for an afordable price; The Swirl will do the job!

Pininfarina Case Review at dinoxpc.com
April 26, 2007

This case is unmistakable from the hand of Pininfarina. Smooth design together with great quality make this a real top chassis. It is very user-friendly and the installation of other computer parts can not be a problem with this beautiful computer case.

SwordFin Review at pc-attitude.com

Spire has done a good job with the SwordFin. It gives a steady cooling due to its 2 fans and its also very userfriendly. This together with the nice price makes this a PC-attitude Choix de la Redaction!

Pininfarina Review at overclock3d.net
March 26, 2007

Conclusion With a case being what you mostly see when you look at your PC the Pininfarina certainly looks the part. It’s a unique looking piece of kit that would blend in well with other modern furniture. Its butterfly design really makes installation a synch, taking little time and allowing (mostly) hassle free mounting of your components. While noisy, the thermals are more than capable of cooling modern hardware more than satisfactorily.

Pininfarina Review at virtual-hideout.net
March 5, 2007

I liked the looks of the case when I first saw it, and the longer I’ve had it, the more I like it. The blue on black, along with the thick aluminum finish, just really works for me. I don’t even think I have to say if I would recommend the case or not, everyone I’ve shown the case too wants one.

BlackFin Review at RBmods.com
February 26, 2007

Overall, I was impressed with the quality and design of the Spire BlackFin Mid-size computer case. The exterior of the case has a simple yet sophisticated look, and the interior has a good layout and has added features such as tool-less design, a removable hard drive tray, and a nice side-fan. While there were a couple of minor nits, they can easily be forgiven in most cases, making this case a good choice when it comes to your next computer case purchase

Swirl Review at TweakNews.net
February 23, 2007

Overall I have to say that I am very impressed. This case has all the features others in its price range do as well as several that even some high price cases do not. The overall cooling was also admirable.

The Spire Pininfarina is an enthusiast's case with excellent design which facilitates ease of use allowing user conveniences across the board. What is so appealing about the Pininfarina is the excellent design and innovation. Right out of the box Pininfarina was a big hit with us, as soon as we noticed the style and beauty of the Pininfarina we knew this case was a keeper. Further more upon inspecting the clean and carefully laid out interior, we come to the conclusion that case is going to be a nice addition to anyone's home decor or office environment.

This has to be the longest case review I have ever done, and for good reason; the Spire Pininfinara is a lot to sing about. The visual statement this case makes is no less than stunning and is sure to turn heads from the front, back, sides and top. The cooling potential for this case is amazing, and the balance of form and function under this discipline is one to be commended.

The esthetics of the case are top notch with that aluminum shell highlighting the smooth lines very nicely. Interior layout is excellent with all the right moves in the right places and let's be honest, the butterfly design is as good as it gets for a system builder or enthusiast who is always in the case.

Pininfarina Review at Hi-techreviews.com

I absolutely love this case and as hard as I tried to come up with something I could complain about I could not think of a single thing. I am also a sucker for crisp clean lines on a case and the Spire Pininfarina has them in spades.

Pininfarina Review at Tweaknews
September 4, 2006

I am very impressed with the case. The fit and finish is excellent, the design is well-thought out, and like an exotic car, nothing is included that does not benefit from actual usage. A sleek look, useful PCI card retention, and swing-out case sides make this one a winner. Bargain-hunters keep hunting, bling-junkies look elsewhere, but those looking for well-designed, good-looking case need to take a hard look.

Pininfarina Review at Madshrimps.be

Yes, it’s a quality case. The steel chassis is very strong and well constructed and has no sharp edges. The paint has a high quality finish with different colors available for the front/top and rear panels. Overall though I’m left feeling quite impressed with the Pininfarina which doesn’t only look good, but packs some power under the hood as well.
